Knowledge assessment before coffee

I get asked because I have a degree what I know. I get challenged because I have an advanced degree if it is worthwhile. The first question is an assumption of inventory. The second is a biased question with a presupposed answer.

“What do you know? “There are a few answers.

Not enough. This reflects an external reflection on the absence of knowledge and is fairly wise.

Too much. This reflects an internal reflection on the existence of knowledge that may not be good and is wise.

I’m not sure. This reflects an understanding of self that all is not knowable, hubris is thinking you don’t need to know something, and that you even know what you need to know.

I’m not sure what I know, but I know that I need to keep learning.
