Tapenade

A little taste of the Mediterranean on a cracker. I love the complex flavors of kalamata olives and capers. You can mix any kind of olives you like, but I try to mix Kalamata and green Greek olives to build a complex flavor.Tapenade

Ingredients

1/2 pound mixed olives, pitted
1 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons capers
2  teaspoons italian seasoning
2 tablespoons sun dried tomatoes
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh

 

Method

1. Rinse the olives

2. Place all ingredients in the bowl of the food processor

3. Process to combine, stopping to scrape the bowl as necessary until you have a course paste. About 1-2 minutes total.
