EOTI voyage plan: Annapolis, MD to Spring Cove, MD Saturday October 23rd 2021

Weather Conditions: Weather is generally calm with an expectation of motoring the entire distance of approximately 42NM. A cold front will pass through the region Friday, while high pressure is slated to build over the area through much of the weekend.

Saturday –North west winds 5 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.

Description: Eoti is a 2000 Moody 46. Blue hull, red bootstripe, white topsides, tan canvas, gray sails with a white downwind sail (large blue turtle), and carries all standard USCG required safety gear and a licensed EPIRB

 Tracking: Eoti can be tracked in real time at all times and has both passive and active tracking located on the tracking page. Eoti will maintain a radio, RADAR and AIS assisted watch with two people (helm and look out) on watch at all times. Eoti while underway monitors VHF channel 16 at all times and has two back up handheld VHF radios.

General comments:

Eoti has a 6 person Zodiac Life raft with supplies, maintains up to date and unexpired signaling devices on board Eoti, in the dinghy (Dongle) and in the life raft. GEOS SAR services for all crew are maintained and set up through Iridium, and Garmin. All crew have AIS PLBs in their DeckVest PFDs. All crew have lights and whistles in their PFDs.
