  1. Well stated. One could counter to said company on undelivered promises, as to why they never followed up on the resumes submitted. It is their loss. I find it humorous companies will complain about loosing recruits. The analogy of Marine recruits works here. Recruits are not Marines until graduation day. Corporate recruits are not employees until day 1 of payment. I as a perspective employee can play the song and dance about “what I am going to do for your company.” We’ve all been trained to parrot this and the recruiters are conditioned to listen for it all the while forgetting I am human and inherently greedy thus wanting what is best for me.

    My advice for recruiters would be to stop with the bs. As we progress higher and higher within tertiary education we get better and recognizing it.
