This is a little project I’ve been working on. I wanted a detailed map of the industry, so I created the following to see who owns what, where they’re located, and some of the stories behind what they are doing. I’m constantly adding to it and trying to fit as much as possible. However, I’ll be honest: for even regional groups, unless I’ve dealt with them directly, I don’t have them in here. Basically what I’m building is a cohesive understanding beyond anything anybody has ever publicly delivered. The raw data that builds these kinds of analysis products drives a lot of stories. You may find it won’t give all the data on phones. That’s just a constraint of the device.
